Electrical Engineering

After graduating with a major in automation or infotronics, you can be employed in a variety of areas: You will work in electrical design/development or in the field of hardware and software (machine control, drive technology, visualization).

As a student of electrical engineering
  • You develop, calculate, design and test new components, assemblies, devices, machines, equipment and systems in electrical engineering/electronics and processes for their manufacture
  • You supervise the manufacture, assembly, commissioning, maintenance and operation of electrical engineering equipment and systems of all types
  • You solve practical technical problems and tasks in the electrotechnical field using suitable procedures and in the most economical way possible
Requirements
  • General university entrance qualification or a subject-linked university entrance qualification in the chosen field of study
  • Technical understanding
  • Interest in mechanical engineering
